Getting to the Marais from Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)
There are two ways to get to the Marais from the airport:
- Taxi: depending on the time you arrive, travel time can take from 50-90 minutes. It will cost you approximately 50 euros for the trip to central Paris.
- RER train/metro: the train from the airport is safe, reliable and inexpensive. It takes approximately 60 minutes and cost about 9 euros per ticket. (see map below - the red line traces the route on the RER from Charles de Gaulle to Chatelet)
Follow the signs for the RER train station from the airport exit. You can buy your ticket at the station - the cost includes the transfer to the metro once you arrive in Paris. Take the RER, B3 line (blue), to Chatelet/Les Halles stop. Transfer to the metro, Line 1 (yellow) direction Chateau de Vincennes, two stops to St. Paul.
